Swirlin' Dervish, Aussie Style

Tristram from Click Imports joins us for this fabulous tasting of Australian wines. Click represents the best from Australia, including Kangarilla Road, Rockbare, Nepenthe, Cape Barren, and more, and Tristram’s laid-back Aussie style just adds to the fun! New Orleans Scooter Girls Group Ride and Tasting at Swirl

The New Orleans Scooter Girls are meeting at Swirl on Thursday for a group ride and tasting at Swirl. The ride will start at 5:30pm from Swirl and will arrive back at Swirl at 6:15 for a tasting of 3 wines. Anyone is welcome to join either part of the event. So bring your scooter, your friends, or just your thirst for great wine and fun events!

National Multiple Sclerosis Bike Tour 150

Team Swirl will be riding the MS Bike Tour this weekend to raise funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. Partner to George Hendry, whose family has owned the vineyards since 1939, Susan has been with Hendry since 1995. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’d like to do our part by hosting a fund raiser for the Y-Me National Breast Cancer Organization (http://www.y-me.org). Join us for 90 minutes of great wine and music as we taste wines made by female winemakers accompanied by music of female songwriters and some great raffle items! Proceeds will be donated to support Y-Me’s programs and services. And as always, you can take your tasting ticket to Lola’s for a 10% discount on your next meal! Tastings are limited to 40 people.
