Vino Italiano: Tre Venezie, The Wines of Northeast Italy with Antonio Molesini
Tuesday July 8, 6:30 to 8pm

With its stunning alpine vistas and fertile plains running from the Po, Adige, Piave and Tagliamento rivers to the Adriatic Sea, this section of Northeast Italy embraces a climate that sets it apart from the rest of this Mediterranean country. It is known as the Tre Venezie: the Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It is also the source of some of Italy’s finest red, white, sparkling and dessert wines and we'll be tasting some of our favorites with Antonio. We'll also have a little something to accompany the wines from the Italian Barrel, a new wine bar and cafe opened by Samantha Castagnetti, a native of the Veneto region. Tastings are limited to 40 people, please call to reserve your spot.

Over the last two decades, however, an emphasis on quality has totally transformed both wine giants. Their vineyards, their wineries and their wines are now at an impressive international standard so come by to taste some of our new favorites tonight. Tastings are limited to 40 people , please call to reserve your spot.
