Get into Spring at Martin Wine Cellars in all its incarnations! Tastings feature South African wines, Italian growers, Once Upon A Vine XIV, food matching, California winemaker Paul Draper, Argentinian Malbec, and Spring tastings at the Metairie, Baton Rouge, and Mandeville locations.

Don't forget Martin's first annual reception–style tasting event in Baton Rouge Tour de Vin: an Affair of Exquisite Taste. Tour de Vin will be held June 22, 2008 from 4 – 7pm at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center. Tickets go on sale April 1, 2008 at all locations.

An Evening with Ridge winemaker Paul Draper

At this casual reception wine tasting, meet special guest Paul Draper, a distinguished California winemaker who has been the chief winemaker at Ridge Vineyards in California since 1969. Draper has played a significant role in the history of California wine through his pioneering work in popularizing "vineyard–designated" wines, as well as instigating the resurgence of old-vine Zinfandel. Draper is considered one of the most important figures in the history of Californian Zinfandel.

He was awarded the 2000 Wine Spectator Distinguished Service Award, the 2005 Lifetime Achievement Award, Wein Gourmet Germany, and was 2006 San Francisco Chronicle Winemaker of the Year.

Martin's cannot accept any reservation or cancellation after 3 pm the day of the tasting (cancellations for dinners require 24 hour notice.)

All tastings begin at 6:30 pm and are held at the Metairie store (except dinners).
Martin's does not accept payments by mail. To pay with cash or check, please visit either location.
