WINE =======: 1999 Villabella Valpolicella Ripasso AOC : Valpolicella Tasting Date: 2006-12-12 Varietal : Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, Rossignola, Negra Score : 92 Country : Italy State : Veneto Region : Valpolicella Notes ----- The color is a rich dark garnet, fading to brink at the very edges. Rich nose of dark fruit and pencil shavings, and very sturdy, pronounced legs. This wine is very tasty--dark fruits, black currant, cherry, plum, blackberry, with good acidity (but not too much), muted tannins, with a hint of bitterness in the finish. Production Notes ---------------- Corvina 55-65%, Rondinella 25-30%, Molinara, Rossignola, Negrara 10%.
