Heavy cassis, watery, very smooth but devoid of any finish,
leaving me (as well as others) to assume this wine is shut
down and dumb. Profoundly disappointing because the
Montelena was undoubtedly slated as the terminator of the
flight.

Montelena was served from a larger-format than 750ml.

This was part of a wine tasting at Martin's Wine Cellar (Metairie, LA)
