WINE =======: 1999 Clos du Bois Tasting Date: 2004-01-03 Varietal : Cabernet Sauvignon,Merlot, Malbec Score : 85 Country : USA Region : Sonoma Notes ----- Due to the high concentration of Merlot and Malbec, to some it may lack the firmess one expects from quality red wines. It has an almost black color and a smoky bouquet of leather bound books, good earth and lovely grapes giving it a great nose. It has a satiny texture and a taste comprising of blackberries, a touch of black currant and ripe Cabernet grapes. I must admit it does lack on the finish.
