WINE =======: 2000 Santa Rita 120 Cabernet Sauvignon AOC : Rapel Valley Tasting Date: 2004-03-25 Varietal : Cabernet Score : 86 Country : Chile Notes ----- Garnet to slight traces of pink at edge; Slightly off/plastic type of bouquet but has a kind of complex character about it; rhubarb. Taste of over-ripe plums, not a bad balance for a low end wine, quite fruity. Surpringly, the wine has a decent finish. Lots of terroir character. Tannins are waning. Medium to full-bodied. A little sweet for my tastes but a pleasant wine in the "supermarket" category. Output generated by La Wine Club - http://LaWineClub.com/ =================
