WINE =======: 2000 Puech-Haut AOC : Coteaux Du Languedoc Tasting Date: 2004-04-01 Varietal : 60% Syrah, 40% Grenache Noir Score : 92 Country : France State : Saint Drezery Notes ----- Beet red with traces of pink at the edges; Rich nose of milk chocolate-covered cherries (emphasis on the milk chocolate), raspberries and chocolate-infused jammy fruits. Medium-to-full-bodied. Rich, supple tannins, explosive flavor and a nice finish. Production Notes ---------------- Aged for one year in a combination of new, one and two-year-old barrels. Additional Notes ---------------- This is one of my personal favorite wines. A very good QPR.
