WINE =======: 2000 Briand de Saint Sulpice AOC : Bordeaux Tasting Date: 2004-05-27 Score : 89+ Country : France Region : Saint Sulpice Notes ----- Rich purple with only a slite fade at the edges; nose of mint, eucalyptus and old oak; medium-bodied with a rich mouthfeel and a bright and lively finish. This is what I'd consider to be a low-end French wine that is indicative of the outstanding 2000 vintage, where even common wines shine. I suspect this wine was aged in old oak - new oak would have made it superlative. Output generated by La Wine Club - http://LaWineClub.com/ =================
