Very dense, backwards, tightly wound, tannic monster with a
nose of scorched earth and lead pencil. I'm a big fan of
Cte. St. Michelle but this wine is so tannic it may take
years to see if it will blossom into anything impressive. In
its present state, I'd recommend a food pairing with a large
tub of lard.
