It was my first taste of a trockenbeerenauslese, so I am scoring it without anything to compare it to. However, it was wonderful. A beautiful honey-gold color, it had the scent of sweet fruit and honey, like apricot jam. It was very, very sweet, but not syrupy in texture, and a very fruity sweet, with flavors of peach, apricot, tangerine, honey, and rose petals. A nice citrusy tang lingers on the palate very cleanly.
