WINE =======: 2003 Beni di Batasiolo Bosc dla Rei Moscato d'Asti AOC : DOCG Tasting Date: 2004-07-28 Varietal : moscato (muscat) Score : 85 Country : Italy State : Piedmont Notes ----- This wine has a nice pale-straw color and a pleasant odor, sweet and citrusy. I have to say, though, that I was disappointed. I prefer a sweeter version of this type, and this one was only lightly sweet. It did have a nice citrus bite, but without the sweetness to balance it, it wasn't as pleasant as it could have been. It also had an off taste that I could not identify. However, someone who prefers a dessert wine with very little sweetness might enjoy this one a good bit. It was easy to drink, with a very light flavor, but I found that to be annoying...sort of like drinking a normal dessert wine watered down a bit. Still, if you are looking for a citrusy wine with a hint of sweetness that you can swig, this one qualifies. Production Notes ---------------- The vineyards this special product is grown on are located on the Beni di Boscareto estate in the village of Serralunga d Output generated by La Wine Club - http://LaWineClub.com/ =================
