Eleven years old and only a slight trace of age in the
purplish color of this rich wine; the nose explodes with
nuances of cherry-flavored jolly rancher candy, mature, rich
dark fruits with hints of plum & leather; nicely balanced
with with fruit being a little ahead of the tannins.

Production Notes

The lovely Bella Vista Napa Valley Vineyard is located on a
steep slope facing Calistoga with Sonoma Valley at its back.
Soils are well-drained, rocky and rich in calcium. The
coolnesss of the climate allows a long ripening period
culminating in a late harvest, which encourages intense
cherry, chocolate and leather tones.
