deep purple color with just hints of lightening at edges;
nose of violets, nutmeg, cherries, slight
mineral/earthy/leather nuance; rich and extracted, medium to
full-bodied with black pepper and nicely-balanced tannins. 
Drinkable now but more time would be kinder.
