WINE =======: 1989 Haut Brion AOC : Pessac-Leognan Tasting Date: 2004-08-29 Score : 100 Country : France Region : Graves Notes ----- As a "special" treat for my birthday, I thought it might be apropos to open a bottle of this great wine! As always it was a full bodied wine with a dark ruby, almost garnet color, showing no evidence of it's age whatsoever... Straight out of the bottle, a wonderful nose of black fruits, minerals, and lots of spice. On the palate, WOW, layers and layers of fruit and spices with a finish which seemed to go on forever. I've had this wine on numerous occasions, but it seems to be finally reaching a point of maturity. Output generated by La Wine Club - http://LaWineClub.com/ =================
