Its color is a lovely clear ruby, so dark it is almost purple. It has a very fragrant scent, with a strong element of cocoa. We were on a budget, and ordered the cheapest red wine on the list. It tasted like it, too. The waiter suggested Terra Rosa, only a few dollars more than the first wine, but much, much better.
