Color is a nice beety garnet, lighter at the edges but
essentially the same color. The scent is spicy, maybe a hint
of cinnamon, with jammy red fruits like raspberry and
cherry, maybe a bit of leather. The flavor is fruity, with
just enough tannins to give it structure, nicely balanced,
with raspberry flavors. This is a very pleasant little wine.
We had it with pork with a sweet-hot sauce, and it went very
well with it.
