The color is a pretty shade of ruby, only slightly lighter
at the edges, and has very long, strong legs. There is a
strong nose of red fruits--raspberry, plums, cherry, with
maybe a hint of chocolate. The wine has a nice balance, with
a very long, pleasant finish. There are strong fruit flavors
of raspberry and cherry, with a good balance of acids and
tannin. It may be a little heavy on the alcohol, but overall
this was a very tasty CDP.
