Notes

This wine has a lovely dark amber color, with a great nose
of brown  sugar, burnt sugar, and caramel. The body is
thick, and the flavor  is sweet, with apricots and brown
sugar. Tasted with some apricot cookies, the combination was
amazing. This is a very rich and delicious wine for the
price.

Production Notes
----------------
The grapes are picked late, with some shriveling at harvest.
After partial fermentation, alcohol is added, leaving
substantial residual sugar. Each year, the wines are blended
together and one-eighth is drawn off for bottling. The tank
is topped off with new wine from the latest vintage and the
blend is then put back into barrels and casks.

Additional Notes
----------------
Price is for a half-bottle. This can be cellared for a long time, perhaps
as much as 50 years.
