WINE =======: 1994 Dominus Napa Valley AOC : Napa Valley Tasting Date: 2005-07-18 Varietal : Cab Sauvignon, Merlot, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot Score : 92 Country : USA State : California Region : Yountville Notes ----- The color is a dark garnet, fading a bit towards the edge. It has a nice, light nose with a faint hint of spearmint. This wine is VERY smooth, with very subtle tannins, and very drinkable. The most prevalent flavor is raspberry. The finish is long and variable, and changing as it fades. Although this is clearly a fine and high-quality wine, it didn't have the complexity one might expect from a wine of this caliber. It was very good, but in a very straightforward and unremarkable way. Production Notes ---------------- 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot 16 months in French oak barrels Output generated by La Wine Club - http://LaWineClub.com/ =================
