I love this wine. The color is a beautiful dark garnet.
There's a wonderful nose of dark berries, blackberry and
plum. The flavor is incredible--jammy fruits, not
overpowering, but strong, with an amazing long finish. It
has a nice level of acidity, with distinct but subdued
tannins. I was thinking of buying half a case of this, even
though it's easily twice my usual price range, but when I
got to the store I couldn't bear the thought of only having
six bottles and went for the whole case. That's how good it
is.
