Notes

Ruby-purple in color; nose of ground coffee, very extracted
and young. At the time of tasting this wine has not yet been
released.

Production Notes
----------------
Heavy rainfall in Winter 01/02 was followed by a warm, dry
Spring, causing the vines to bud early and set a light and
concentrated crop. A cool sumer prolonged the growing
season, with warm temperatures at harvest bringing the fruit
to full maturity. The long growing season and extended hang
time ensured full, complex flavor development for our
Cabernet. Harvest: Sep 14-Oct 15; Bottled: Aug 2004 (7,400
cases); Release: March 2006.

This was part of a ten-year (85,89,90,95,96,97,99,00,01,02) vertical
tasting at the California Grill, Contemporary Resort, Walt Disney World in
association with Chateau Montelena and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival,
2005.
