The color is garnet red; the nose is very peppery, with a
hint of pencil shavings. The wine is very powerful and dry,
probably better with food. It's quite peppery, with
noticeable tannins; the finish is not pleasant. The wine is
a bit bitter, emphasized by a rather high level of acidity.
With the right food, this might be nice, but for drinking
alone it's not a favorite.
