The color is a very dark maroon, almost black. The nose is
very fruity; plum, cherry, and blackberry, with a hint of
"Off" scent that dissipates after a few minutes. The flavor
is nice, very extracted and fruity, as one would expect from
an unfiltered wine from old vines like this one. Main
flavors are plum, blackberry, and cherry. It's a tad
cough-syrupy, like all Zinfandels; if you like a good Zin,
you'll like this one.
