WINE =======: 2003 Hedges Cellar CMS AOC : Columbia Valley Tasting Date: 2006-02-27 Varietal : Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Syrah, Cab franc Score : 91 Country : USA State : Washington Region : Columbia Valley Notes ----- The color is a lovely garnet. It has an intense nose of plum, black cherry, and currants. The flavor is complex--lots of tannins, but they are reducing with a bit of a chance to breathe. Still a bit too tannic for my taste, but there is good acidity to balance it nicely. It became much nicer after an hour or so...very tasty and jammy. Production Notes ---------------- 47% Merlot, 47% Cabernet sauvignon, 3% Syrah, 2% Cab franc Output generated by La Wine Club - http://LaWineClub.com/ =================
