The color is a nice dark ruby, lightening to watermelon
toward the edges. It has a medium-strength nose of red
fruits--cherry, red currants, raspberry. The flavor is good;
the fruits are a bit muted, with noticeable tannins but not
too much. It has some acidity for balance. Not bad, but it
might improve with breathing.
