Bouquet of worn leather, cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet cherry. After more than an hour of decanting,this wine was still wound incredibly tight. Tighter than a nun at a Megadeth concert. The tannins were unyielding to the point of being bitter. After double-decanting for two to three hours, the wine opened up but was still not terribly impressive for its age and stature.
