Chateau/Producer:Dominus
Wine Name:Napa Valley
Country:USA
State:California
AOC:Napa Valley
Region:Yountville
Wine Score:92
Notes:The color is a dark garnet, fading a bit towards the edge. It has a nice, light nose with a faint hint of spearmint. This wine is VERY smooth, with very subtle tannins, and very drinkable. The most prevalent flavor is raspberry. The finish is long and variable, and changing as it fades. Although this is clearly a fine and high-quality wine, it didn't have the complexity one might expect from a wine of this caliber. It was very good, but in a very straightforward and unremarkable way.

Varietal:Cab Sauvignon, Merlot, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot
Production Notes:72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot
