WINE =======: 1999 Lail J. Daniel Cuvee AOC : Napa Valley Tasting Date: 2003-04-29 Varietal : Cuvee Score : 88 Country : USA State : CA Region : Napa Valley Notes ----- Dark, rich, no sign of age, spicy peppered raspberry, pencil shavings, cassis, old and new oak, very tannic. Full bodied and deep; IMO the biggest of the flight. I agree with the contention among the group that this wine had the most aging potential. By far the best QPR as well. Additional Notes ---------------- This was part of a wine tasting at Martin's Wine Cellar (Metairie, LA) featuring California Cabernet.
