[News] [New Orleans] |
Dear friends,
We are just about through 2005.
I want to thank you for your business and support during our second full year in business. I am thankful for the loyal patronage that you have given me, especially after Hurricane Katrina.
On New Years Day, we are leaving for Paris to purge the system of hurricanes and a busy holiday season. The store will be closed from January 1 through January 11, 2006. |
We will reopen on January 12th. Hopefully, this will not inconvenience you too much. We just need some time to relax and prepare for a new year, and a new outlook on life in New Orleans.
In the meantime, I want you to know that I remain positive and will continue to be in business. There are a lot of exciting wines in stock right now, and more to come. Currently, we have an excellent selection red Burgundy, exciting Rhone wines from the 2003 vintage, and a fun, new selection from Italy and Spain. I am anticipating arrival of 2003 Domaine Faiveley and Domaine Jadot Burgundy, as well as a small allocation of wines from Tollot Beaut, Roumier, and other small Domaine wines in mid-January.
Have a safe and Happy New Year.
Many thanks, and best regards,
Ric Hopper
