 Pontchatrain Vineyards announces three great events for the summer months.
On Saturday, June 24, it's Jazz’n the Vines Featuring Don Vappie & the Creole Jazz Serenaders. June 16th brings the June Dinner Series. And on July 15, it's the Great Grape Pick-Off! |

JAZZ’N THE VINES FEATURING DON VAPPIE & THE CREOLE JAZZ SERENADERS
Traditional Jazz
The Don Vappie and the Creole Jazz Serenaders will perform in the Jazz’n the Vines concert series at Pontchartrain Vineyards on Saturday, June 24th 6:30-9:00 p.m.
Don is considered one of the premier banjoists in traditional jazz, he is also skilled with other instruments acoustic and electric bass, acoustic and electric guitar and as a vocalist. He is an authority on early New Orleans music. Since Katrina, he has taken an active lead in creating venues for musicians to play with the Bring It On Home.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The concert is from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., gates open at 5:30. The community is invited to bring a lawn chair, picnic dinner, umbrella, flashlight and a thirst for fine wine and music in a magnificent vineyard setting. There will be a $10.00/person entrance fee. (No pets, outside beer, wines or liquor, please.) Pontchartrain Vineyards wine and gourmet sandwiches will be available for purchase.

Menu includes Appetizer, Salad, Filet Mignon (Hot off the Grill), potato dish, vegetable, dessert and coffee.
Pontchartrain Vineyards wine is available for purchase.
Due to space limitation guests may be seated with other guests and dinner will be buffet style.

THE GREAT GRAPE PICK-OFF
5:30 p.m.
Join us at Pontchartrain Vineyards for The Great Grape Pick-Off on Saturday, July 15th at 5:30 p.m., to pick our 2006 Blanc du Bois grapes.
Come pick, stomp, and enjoy a vineyard BBQ. Sign your T-shirt with Your very own FEET! Must register in advance for the event. See the website to print a "Sign-up Form."
Things to Remember: Dress in comfortable clothes. Bring your own scissors for picking. |
