| The Wine Institute New Orleans (WINO)will be holding its Grand Opening on Sat., April 14, 2007. The event will take place from 6-8 p.m., and it is free. |
WINO includes a Wine Tasting Room--80 wines available by the glass, featuring the "Enomatic" wine tasting system. These wines are available through dispensing units. Customers can purchase a card and put money on it like a debit card. You can use this card at the dispensing machines to get a taste in one of several sizes. The cost is deducted from your card, and the card is refillable.
This system offers patrons a good way to taste a high-priced wine for a small cost before shelling out for a larger bottle.
Anyone is welcome to stop by the store for a visit and a tour.
