Friday April 20 from 5:30 to 7:30, Cork & Bottle begins its third summer of sipping wine while watching the sun set on Bayou St. John. For the past two summers, Cork & Bottle Fine Wines has teamed up with The Pitot House and the Louisiana Landmarks Society to taste some good wines and support a great cause. As the Pitot House continues to recover financially from Katrina, Cork & Bottle is asking you to come out and help to celebrate and preserve one of our city's most significant buildings. Fine wines, a fantastic setting, a way to relax before JazzFest starts. . . what else do you need? We'd love to see you out here!

About the Pitot House
The charm of the Pitot House attracts visitors, inspires artists (such as the work done by local artist Corey Allen featured above), and it is a key fixture in the history of New Orleans. Although physical destruction to the Pitot House caused by Hurricane Katrina was minimal, Katrina has, however, erased what has now become two years of fund-raising for the Louisiana Landmarks Society. Now, more than ever, the Pitot House needs your support. Fine wines, an historic property, beautiful gardens, and a setting sun along the bayou: what a perfect marriage.

For more information, call Cork & Bottle at (504)281-4384, or you can call the Pitot House at 482-0312. The Pitot House is located at 1440 Moss Street, and can be found on the web at www.pitothouse.org. See you there! Cheers.
