Swirlin' Dervish, The Pacific Northwest, Tuesday, June 26, 6:30 to 8pm
We're staying in our own backyard this Tuesday as we taste 6 beautiful wines from Washington and Oregon. When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California, but there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon and Washington are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world! Kerry is featuring music of the early Seattle grunge bands including Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and more! Tastings are limited to 40 people. Please call to reserve a spot.

Taste, Not Gulp! The Why and How of Wine Tasting
Our fun but informative wine basic series resumes with Class 1 of a 4 part series. You can sign up for the whole series and receive a 10% discount, or take each class on an individual basis.
Class I: Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah make up 80% of the quality wine sold in this country. We’ll taste 6 wines side by side that beautifully illustrate the flavor sensations of these well known grapes as we work through the basic steps of wine tasting. Reservations and pre-payment required; limited to 12 people. Subsequent classes will be scheduled the last Thursday of each month through September. Sold Out.

Jenny from Glazer's joins us for 4 great wines from the Grateful Palate who over the years, have assembled one of the world’s finest portfolio of Australian wines, including producers such as Chris Ringland, Trevor Jones, Henry’s Drive, Rick Burge, Marquis Philips, Noon, Kay Brothers, Greenock Creek and many more.

Tonight we'll feature a tribute to the Divine Miss M whose incredible vocals, ranging from dynamic and expressive to tender and sensual, pair beautifully with selections from our Big/Bold and Soft/Lush flavor sensations. Bastille Day Celebration and Street Fair, July 14th, 5:00 to 9:00pm
In recognition of Bastille Day, the Faubourg St. John Merchants Association is holding another street fair on Ponce de Leon with food and drink from local merchants, live music and more.
